Patti Bossert - President

Patti Bossert, CME, CSP, founder and President of Key Staffing, is currently celebrating her 20th year in business in Topeka.  Key is a certified woman-owned business specializing in clerical and light industrial temporary, temp to hire, and direct hire staffing. Patti also owns and operates Premier Executive Recruiting and Premier Search Group in Topeka, and Key Staffing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Premier’s specialty is recruiting top talent for clients in Topeka and throughout the Midwest. Patti was awarded the 1998 Kansas Woman Owned Business of the Year Award by the Kansas Department of Commerce and Housing. 

Patti is a native of South Dakota and holds a B.S. in Education from South Dakota State University.  She has served on the boards and committees of many local, state, and national organizations including: Kansas Inc. Board, The Kansas Chamber, Rotary International, Topeka South Rotary, NFIB Leadership Council, Sales & Marketing Executives International, Society of Human Resource Managers, Heart of American Staffing Services, United Way of Greater Topeka, and the Topeka Chamber of Commerce. She is past Co-Chair of Kansas, Inc. and is a graduate of Leadership Topeka and 2007 Leadership Kansas Class.

Doug Erickson - Vice President

Beginning his Recruiting career in 1993, Doug Erickson is Vice President for Key Staffing, specializing in the recruitment of managerial and executive level talent in the Financial/Accounting, IT and HR arena. He has successfully overseen the placement of top talent in  Financial Analysis, Cost, Controllers, Directors, IT and C-level and other Corporate positions.  The majority of Doug’s clients are mid-sized corporations to Fortune 500 Organizations, with a few boutique businesses and public accounting firms.  Doug focuses on a total fit for both the clients and candidates he represents, as a result, 89% of the professionals he has placed are still with the client company.  Doug prides himself on his ability to earn the trust and respect of these clients, who grow to view him more as a business partner than simply a Recruiter.

Doug has been professionally trained by some of the Recruiting industries biggest names: Greg Doersching, Doug Beabout and Jeff Skretny.  He has trained in Morgan Methodology recruitment and management, and has attained his CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) designation.  Doug is an active member of the National Association of Personnel Services, American Staffing Association, and the Top Echelon Recruiting Network. 

In addition to recruiting, Doug has been a guest speaker for schools, professional associations and a talk radio show “All About Business”, regarding the latest trends in Talent Acquisition and Retention, Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills.  His work with companies and candidates alike has earned him many letters of recommendation and thanks. Paul Bossert - Director of Operations

Paul attended Bowling Green State University and was a member of their Division I swim team. He Graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design. He has experience working with small to medium size design agencies, along with a larger corporate environment, Neiman Marcus in Dallas, as a member of their advertising team. He joined Key Staffing in 2007.

Paul has been responsible for leading his sales and recruiting teams to a profitable year despite difficult economic challenges. He designed and implemented new marketing strategies along with engineering cost-saving processes and expanding business development. Paul continually focuses his teams on targeting their market and differentiating their services. He implemented innovative techniques and the utilization of social media to research, attracted talent, and market in new ways.

Paul is very involved in the community and looks to help grow the base of successful young professionals in Topeka. Some of his involvement includes Topeka South Rotary Board of Directors, Leadership of Greater Topeka 2009, Fast Forward Steering Committee, Fast Forward Marketing Committee Chair, Bryan College Board of Advisors, and the Young Leaders Society. Paul also enjoys reading to 2nd graders through his rotary club’s Mighty Mentors program. He was recently honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International and awarded as a Distinguished Sales and Marketing Executive by Sales and Marketing International.

Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, Hannah, and two puggles, Tabby and Zoe. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, bowling, watching KU sports, and freelance designing.

 

Amanda Ronk - Staffing Specialist

Mandy is the Office Coordinator for our Key Staffing office in Sioux Falls. Mandy is married to Calvin, and together they have two family dogs. Mandy graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. In her free time she enjoys reading, exercising, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

 

Barb Vanderham - Staffing Specialist   

Barb is a Staffing Consultant with Key Staffing and works with clients as an accounting representative.  She graduated from Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Event Management and has been an active member with the Sioux Empire Society of Human Resource Managers since 2007. Barb and her husband, Jeremy, have been married for almost six years and have a four year old son and a two year old daughter. Barb enjoys shopping, home projects, grilling, reading, the Vikings, and her children who she says keeps her very busy.

 

Bethany Swinney - Staffing Specialist

Bethany is a Customer Service Representative for Key Staffing. She interviews applicants, places candidates, and maintains relationships with customers and employees. She was born and raised in Topeka, KS and graduated from Kansas State University in May 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing. Bethany is K-State Alumni member, past member of the American Marketing Association, Compeer volunteer, and a donator to the APSCA.  In her spare time, Bethany enjoys watching K-State sports, traveling, cooking, outdoor activities, reading, swimming, and her cat Chloe.

 

Bev Schwartz - Project Coordinator

Bev is the Project Coordinator for Key Staffing. Her position involves the planning and the oversight of various projects involving recognizing both clients and employees.  Bev is originally from Jacksonville, Illinois and she attended Sangamon State University. She is married to Lee and together they have two children and three wonderful grandchildren. Bev enjoys shopping, traveling, volunteering with Hospice, KU and K-State basketball and football, and of course spending time with her family!

 

Holly Mitchell - Administrative Assistant

Holly is a part-time Receptionist at Key Staffing. She assists in the office coordination by accepting applications for employment and testing potential employees as well as updating current employee files. Holly has a Medical Secretary Certificate and spent five years doing transcription work before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, camping, and traveling.

 

Jamie Stafford - Staffing Specialist

Jamie is a Staffing Consultant for Key Staffing. Her time is spent fulfilling and understanding the needs of Key’s clients. Jamie graduated from Washburn University with Bachelor’s in Psychology, and she married her husband, Jason, last year. She is member of Fast Forward and in the Phi Chi honors society. Jamie enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her two cats Ruby and Sophia!

 

Jason Finson - Accounting Manager

Jason is the Accounting Manager for Premier Employment Solutions.  He handles the accounting, payroll, and benefits for all of the Premier clients, customers, and employees.  Jason graduated from the University of Kansas with a Political Science degree.  While he was in school he was active in music.  When he is not busy at work he enjoys music, Community Theater, golf, sports, paintball, and church. He currently plays bass guitar in productions with a popular theater, and also plays in a small local band.

Kris Golden - Accounting

Kris is the Payroll Coordinator in Sioux Falls. She handles payroll functions for the Sioux Falls office. Kris was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and attended college at Southwest Minnesota State. She is married to Larry, whom she recently celebrated her 40th wedding anniversary with. Together they have two grown children and belong to the Great Plains Streetrodders where they enjoy volunteering. Kris enjoys quilting, flower gardening, and travelling.

 

Kristi Hinck - Accounting

Kristi is the United Way Office Campaign Coordinator for Premier.  In her free time, she enjoys reading romance novels, crocheting, and family activities. Kristi is the Payroll Coordinator and Accounting Clerk for Key Staffing.  She assists with accounting details and coordinates temporary payrolls.  Kristi’s personal focus is to complete the tasks assigned to her and to make the CSR’s and Accounting Manager’s job easier, and enjoys any chance to help.

 

Ron Finger - Staffing Specialist

Ron is a Certified Staffing Professional for Key Staffing. Ron has been working with Key Staffing for over eight years after retiring from 32 years with AT&T. Ron and his wife, Becky, have two daughters with two grandbabies and another on the way!  He is a United Way Caring Club member and volunteers as a chaperon five times a year for community organized trips. In his free time Ron enjoys taking care of his yard and spending time with his family.

 

 Sharon Stead - Accounting

Sharon’s hobbies include reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.  She particularly enjoys attending her grandsons’ sports activities. Sharon has been married for 39 years and has one son and three grandchildren.  Before working for Premier, Sharon retired in 2001 from AT&T where she worked as a Manager in Human Resource Staffing for 22 years.

Sharon is the Payroll Coordinator for Premier Employment Solutions.  She handles all of the payroll functions for Key Staffing and Premier.  Sharon graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Business Administration.  While attending school she held many officer positions in a social sorority and in various Greek and Leadership organizations.

Tressie Dennis - Administrative Assistant

Tressie is Key Staffing’s Administrative Assistant and Front Office Coordinator. She has also been an Administrative Assistant for Premier Employment Solutions, Key’s sister company. Tressie is married to Jeff and they have two children, Peyton and Mason. She enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd Tamba, watching Mason play baseball, and attending Peyton’s cheerleading events.
